The Comancheros grew up playing rock and heavy metal. Then, they fell in love with Willie Nelson. This tension has created music that is as down to earth as it is grungy. However, the music isn’t all metallic fury. There is a softer side to the band, which is showcased in songs such as “I Stare at Trains.” It’s music for the common man. Music for the person that knows that life has its ups and its downs; music for the kind of person that works hard and parties even harder. More importantly, it’s music that comes up from the soil of Missouri and takes the listener on a musical journey from the Ozarks to the Mississippi on a Harley. It’s not perfect, but it’s incredibly real.
