Brent Cobb is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter from Georgia, whose music is steeped in the rich traditions of the American South. Having spent a decade in Nashville writing hits for artists like Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and Little Big Town, Cobb returned to Georgia to reconnect with the source of his inspiration. Southern Star was recorded at the acclaimed Capricorn Sound Studios in Macon, GA, and features an all-local lineup of southern musicians, showcasing Cobb’s commitment to honoring and preserving the music of his home region.
